Rise Up Rockbridge exists to do battle against and defeat drug and human trafficking flowing through and to our county on our major interstates. Our battle tactic is prayer; raising up and unifying a body of Christians who believe in the power of prayer. Our desire is to cover in prayer not just the victims, but also the perpetrators and clients. We seek to see lives changed, as we believe in rescue, redemption and in transformation through Christ. We hold to the truth that “all things are possible through Christ.”

Drug and human trafficking are the first and second largest criminal industries in the world – globally estimated at respectively -650 billion and $236 billion annually.
Drug dealers in Rockbridge County are now finding it more profitable to buy trafficked drugs to sell than to manufacture them within our county, thus providing an avenue for fentanyl-laced drugs. Our local foster care system is overburdened with children of addicts removed from homes. Human trafficking has been reported in all 50 states with the average age of a U.S. trafficked victim being 12 years old. And sadly yes, it is reported among Rockbridge residents.
